He was a tough in a tough era. It’s annoying that non-Leeds hard men like Tommy Smith & Ron Harris are patted on the back for their ‘will to win’, while Bremner, Hunter & company are just dismissed as dirty.

I was in parc des princes at Paris for the final in 75 agaibst bayern Munich and fir me Leeds with Bremmer, Lorimer, and Jordan most wins but the arbitre was corrupted and the germans win with this helped the match was stolen arbitres refuse one first goal for leeds it was valable and the penalty for leeds was refused then it was valable this guy after in the same match accird two goals for bayern this goals was not valables im sure the gernans are avantager in football because for me the directors of uefa are or swiss gernans since long tines they help germans teams in 1954 in world cup its a stole hungry nust win in 1974, hollande must wins there are not penalty in final in 74 the player holzenbein felt alone its a stole im sorry foe ny english im french but i hope peopkes in leeds understand what i want to say.

You got me wrong there billybob7ful, fucking muppet, While I dont like Leeds or Bremner, I was simply trying to imply that football in the 70’s was better than today, that Leeds side were class, just I dont like them

woodddddddyasoccer uploads great docs on boxing etc, he is a leeds fan i think. I liked him until then lol. Been in Armley jail (castle on the hill)numerous times with all you leeds onions. Shithole of a jail it was back in the 80s. 3 in a pad! slop out, cockroaches, pigeons, shit parcels threw out of windows, the bomb squad, the view over leeds, the suicides (loads of them), the potent smell of piss everywhere. happiest days of my life. 159 people died in jails in 1987-8 most was suicides. Joke!

  13. Cotswold Cuckoo on January 16, 2022 at 1:36 pm

Wasn’t Gary Sprake called in to comment on Billy’s match fixing abilities, following Revie’s instructions to a tee in that regard ? Allegedly.

The way Billy could pick out a pass with his back to the play was unbelievable. He was a tremendous player.

  22. David Whitehead on January 16, 2022 at 1:56 pm

Everyone in thay team cud scor a goal ….thats y they were great..

  23. martynh on January 16, 2022 at 1:58 pm

Let’s see – at 18 seconds of this clip Bremner scores a goal that needed supreme technical ability – an overhead kick with the ball coming across him (Cantana/Best would have been proud of that). Billy scored goals from outside the box and he was a sniffer inside the box. He scored lots of goals in big games and he was a great leader. And he was a great, great footballer. This man was a genius!

  24. BP23011992 on January 16, 2022 at 1:58 pm

little billy bremner is the captain of the crew, for the sake of leeds united, he would break himself in two, his hair is red and fuzzy and his bodys black and blue, but leeds go marhing on….GLORY GLORY LEEDS UNITED

    LONG LIVE THE KING.

I am a Man City fan, but I have to say if I had to pick one player to make a squad…. it would be Billy. He embodies the old style footballer…. tough, uncompromising, and driven to win. I don’t think anybody could take a header like Billy Bremner!!

    10st of barbed wire…. Indeed!!

  27. P puh6tfrz on January 16, 2022 at 2:02 pm

His international career lasted eleven years so how come he only got 54 caps instead of 100?

  28. Ralphy G Pilk on January 16, 2022 at 2:04 pm

Unbelievable player . Absolute Winner . Hard as Nails . Frightened of no one .

  29. Anthony Mead on January 16, 2022 at 2:04 pm
