What are Probiotics? Probiotics are living microorganisms that, when ingested, provide numerous health benefits. They’re usually bacteria, but certain types of yeasts can also function as probiotics. You can get probiotics from supplements, as well as from foods prepared by bacterial fermentation.

    Hi, thank you so much for this explanation.
    Which sort of probiotic would you recommend to a person with acute diarrhea due to IBS and SIBO and who can hardly tolerate any probiotic?

    Hey Justin, great video 👍 Currently I am using a broad spectrum lactobacillus/bifido blend between meals PLUS an anti candida saccromyces boullardi 1-2 daily with great relief from lingering gut irritation. On a carnivore diet as well, the only diet that significantly reduces my inflammatory skin, joint, G.I. and neurological symptoms (highly recommend it for those seeking relief).

    Handy hint I learned for those who struggle with bone broth causing flare ups, I use one piece of organic Osso Bucco beef with the bone marrow exposed for a shorter cooked broth (broth still contains some marrow juice from the bone of the Osso Bucco), cook gently for only one-two hours on low heat with some salt and acid (lemon/lime juice). The broth is lighter, contains less gut irritating toxins and heals the gut more gently than a longer cooked bone broth

    Ray peat says the whole gut bacteria is a scam, theres animals when you put them in a bacteria free livign area their health improves, also look to sibo (small intestine bacteria overgrowth) you have health issues to from endotoxin, h pylori etc etc. Bacteria is bad for us, even the so called good ones are a waste of money.
